I think its the backs of Briercliffe rd/Mayfield rd looking towards Brock Rd. The houses on the left (Briercliffe) had the jutting out bits added to the pre 1st WWar design when eventually built post war, it consisted of a kitchen downstairs and a bathroom upstairs added onto the traditional two up two down. The three houses nearest Brock rd were started pre war without the add on but were updated when the others were built. The houses on rhs (Mayfield) were built later and to a design that integrated both the kitchen and bathroom.
