Im sorry Caroline,I dont have any pictures of the greyhound era. In fact the only camera we had in those days was a kodak box camera. Very simple but took good photos.Ellis Clarke had three children including twin boys, The twins kept the smithills Coaching house. Unfortunately one committed suicide
What a great shot on No 1 and No 2 retort houses at Moor Lane Gas Works. You can also see the office buildings and training center in the foreground. I started work there as an apprentice gas fitter in 1964
