Description
Footbridge crossing the Croal from St. Helena Road. The buildings belonged to the tannery. The river now runs underground and the open space is a car park. The National Probation Service building stands in place of the tannery.

There is a surviving chimney; St Helena Mill which is the next to the right of the four visible. It is shorter though. The others are at Booth’s Foundry, Jackson’s Corn Mill and Bark Street Tannery.
