Description
Footbridge crossing the Croal from St. Helena Road. The buildings belonged to the tannery. The river now runs underground and the open space is a car park. The National Probation Service building stands in place of the tannery.

I believe this shows the bridge at the bottom of central street. The path behind the Croal backs on to the telephone exchange – a new concrete bridge stands in place of the footbridge.
