St Peter’s Way runs under the next two arches, to the right of this view.
The stone wall and paving, in the foreground, is the flood channel of the River Croal, now culverted under St Peter’s Way.
The flat area, above the wall is the footpath/track between Church Bank and River Street.
The Tudor type building, to the left of the Parish Church is now the Parish Church Hall.
The fencing, below that, is the route of a second path, between Church bank and Clive Street/Institute Steeet.
