Boltons elephants were originally on the top of gateposts opposite the man in white coat. The entrance to Bridsons. I delivered papers there and my brother and me climbed on the top of the elephants. They were always spotless
Having only just found this site whilst searching for Bridsons elephants I was pleased to see your comment. I lived in the adjacent house for many years up to its purchase by the timber firm. I painted the elephants twice during that period.
