We think this is my husband Philip Haslam and his best friend Jack Cartwright. They were always playing on the bonk behind Ellesmere St Farnworth. Jack remembers his sister Ann met a photographer around that time taking photos of Farnworth.
My dad Bob smethurst told me the boy peeing in the picture was his brother jim Smethurst who lived at 67 ellsemere street which backed into the spare ground you see in the picture jim was born in 1934
The boy peeing is my grandads brother not sure of his first name but last name Smethurst my grandad is bob Smethurst
